Pink ribbons are known worldwide as the symbol for breast cancer awareness, and wearing them shows support to all who have been affected by the disease.
"The entire SNS team has remained supportive throughout this month as team members understood the goal of getting involved in bringing awareness to everyone at each campus," said Michael Francis, director of School Nutrition Services. "In addition, every day for breakfast this month SNS offered strawberry milk, and each Friday this month staff were tasked to wear our brand-new pink breast cancer awareness spirit shirt to show even more support."
SBISD School Nutrition Services and students showed just how big a difference we can make by working together. They brought hope to patients' hearts and touched them with love. Let's all continue to raise awareness for this crucial cause, and let us never stop spreading hope. Together we can beat breast cancer! Watch video |
