SBISD's Trade Day offered students at Spring Woods and Northbrook high schools an engaging learning experience through interactive labs with trade professionals from three companies, the Texas Masonry Council, Karsten Interior Services, and Precision Welding Academy. The objective of the event was to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of various techniques utilized on-the-job. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, explore potential career paths and learn about the required skill sets for each trade. Read story

SBISD celebrated a major milestone at the annual Grow Your Own Induction Ceremony, where 107 aspiring SBISD educators began their journey towards making a difference in students' lives. This transformative program has cultivated many bright futures. To qualify, students must complete at least 3.0 credits from the Education & Training Program of Study, apply via the Grow Our Own application in their Education and Training class and maintain good standing as a TAFE member.
