A Message from Dr. Blaine:
Community, gratitude & learning

Veterans Day 2025

Watch video

Veterans Day is always a meaningful moment in SBISD, and this year was no exception. Across the district, students stepped up to honor our military heroes while also learning what service, teamwork and leadership look like in practice — core traits of our T-2-4 Ready Graduates.

At Spring Forest Middle School, Dr. Blaine saw that leadership firsthand as the school’s broadcast students covered the campus Veterans Day event.

As we move into the Thanksgiving season, it’s a fitting time to reflect on the gratitude we share for our veterans, for the educators who make these experiences possible and for the students who continue to rise to every challenge.
