Why now, and why does this matter?

The average age of the facilities in the proposed bond is 58 years old.

By addressing critical needs, we ensure our athletics spaces remain as valuable community assets for the next 50 years - meeting SBISD standards, expanding opportunities for students and enhancing safety.

SBISD is dedicated to providing safe, modern, high-quality spaces that support student success. In our district, academics, athletics and performing arts are interconnected, shaping a well-rounded education.

Our athletics facilities serve as vital spaces where students gather, practice, perform and build skills that drive success in the classroom and beyond.
