Barbering

Barbering

In Barbering, students get the opportunity to work in a professional barbershop setting where they can apply what they’ve learned in school to real-world techniques for haircuts and grooming. The program focuses on job-specific skills to prepare students for careers as barbers, while also providing a solid foundation in science. Students learn everything from cutting and styling hair to shaving, beard grooming, and important topics like sterilization and sanitation. They also build confidence as they practice their skills on clients, getting ready for the fast-paced and creative world of barbering.
