The Information Technology Support & Services pathway explores the design, development, support, and management of hardware, software, network systems. Students in this pathway engage in a hands-on experience that teaches skills in computer maintenance and how to configure and install operating systems, software, and networks.
Information technology careers are needed in a variety of businesses and industries. In the computer technician practicum, a student will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge to fix technology issues, acquire employability skills, and prepare them for post-high school education opportunities like apprenticeships, two-year or four-year college programs.
