The Culinary Arts pathway at The Guthrie Center implements an industry based program that includes the fundamentals of cooking, the science of baking, food service management, production skills and sanitation procedures. In this program, you will have the opportunity to work alongside guest chefs and prepare food for a variety of functions.

In the practicum year, you will have the opportunity to specialize in either Chef Training or Café Operations. Whether you want to become a chef or learn how to manage a small business, the culinary program will provide the knowledge and skills you need to be successful in the hospitality industry.
