Houston is home to the largest medical center in the world and is a leader in healthcare.  The dental assistant program provides a foundation of medical language, anatomy, and procedure that will be used in all dental career paths.  Students in the dental assisting program will learn how to provide patient care and chairside support by assisting Dentists and Dental Hygienists with dental procedures such as fillings, dental impressions, and X-rays.
